A WIRES Fundraiser Exhibition – Thursday 30^th Jan – Saturday 29^th Feb

Held at the stunning Nishi Gallery in NewActon is a major charity exhibition featuring donated works from 30 emerging and established Canberra region artists. Over the course of a month, the works of art will be sold via silent auction with all proceeds going to WIRES. The Launch of this month-long event is on Thursday 30^thfrom 6-9pm, however is open until February 29^th.

Gin Dinner at Hotel Kurrajong – Friday 31^st Jan

For an evening of fine dining, live music and all things gin, be sure to get yourself tickets to Hotel Kurrajong’s evening event. Over the course of the evening enjoy a 4-course share style dinner hosted by Tim Reardon from the Canberra Distillery, as well as a gin themed cocktail on arrival.

Friday Prosecco & Co at Walt & Burley – Friday 31^st Jan

Get ready for your weekend wind down at Walt & Burley who boast a summer inspired menu. Prosecco is the star of these evenings which occur every Friday from 5pm. Castaway Canberra – Saturday 1^st Feb

You’ll want to grab your friends for this one! Castaway Festival is back this weekend for one day only with a line-up of some of Australia’s hottest acts. Performing guests include the likes of Peking Duk, Gang of Youths, Illy, What So Not and Rufus, to name just a few. The festival will be held at Stage 88 and is sure to bring along some strong summer vibes to boogie the evening away!

In Concert with Dami Im & special guest Caitlyn Shadbolt – Saturday 1^st Feb

Hosted at the National Museum of Australia to wrap up the final days of DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition, is an unmissable event with performance by Australia’s very own Eurovision superstar and X-Factor winner, Dami Im! Enjoy great music and watch the nights stars take over the sky as supporting country artist Caitlyn Shadbolt also takes the stage.

Rural Fire Service ticket offer: The National Museum of Australia extends its gratitude to the Rural Fire Service with a special offer of two free tickets to all current RFS ID holders.

Bushfire Relief Benefit Concert – Saturday 1^st Feb

Grab yourself some tickets and head on down to Hawker College to support a local initiative bushfire fundraising event. Witness dance performances from numerous dance studios across both Canberra and New South Wales, as well as musical performances by local Canberra artists. As a Red Cross authorised event, all proceeds from the evening go towards Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. Doors will open at 3pm for a 3:30pm show. Tickets are $25pp and available online here.

 

Your Local Wedding Guide Canberra Expo at Exhibition Park – Sunday 2^nd Feb

SEBERG High Tea at Dendy Cinema – Sunday 2^ndFeb
