LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL @ Canberra Centre – Saturday 13

Celebrate Lunar New Year by joining in our festivities. Follow the beat of the drums to find the roaming lion dancers in the centre on February 13th. Starting at City Walk at 11 am, the skilled and engaging lion dance performance is always thrilling to watch. This is also the perfect event for parents to take children along to enjoy with the colourful performers and rhythmic beats.

While you’re at the centre, be sure to snap a picture of our beautiful Lunar New Year Display located on level 1. This year’s display celebrates the Year of the Ox and features Ox origamis crafted by children from our community.

KOKOMO’S V DAY DATE NIGHT – Saturday 13

Celebrate the weekend of loveee with our Kokomo’s V-Day date night special. A night of cheesy pick-up lines, cocktails, tunes and all-around good vibes. There are 5 dish set menus, dinner and dessert cocktail(s) and sweet surprises throughout the night—$ 85 per person.

CAPITAL REGION FARMERS MARKETS – Every Saturday

With over 100 passionate stallholders, the Capital Region Farmers Markets is a meeting place for local producers and foodie fanatics. Here you’ll find local fruit and veggies, fresh meats and handmade items from pasta to pastries, as well as food vendors and live music. A great place to grab a coffee, fresh groceries and yummy street food is also an informative events program, including cooking demonstrations.
