TRUFFLED INFUSED WINTER WEEKENDS AT MT. MAJURA VINEYARD – FRIDAY 4 JUNE
It’s the first weekend of winter, which means Mt. Majura Vineyard are opening up their doors to celebrate the start of truffle season. Every weekend until the end of August, the vineyard will be offering up a winter tasting experience which includes tastings of 3 glasses of wine matched with truffled brie. This tasting will be $40pp, with $10 of each tasting going to Raw Potential Canberra. Doors are open from 10am-5pm, make sure you book in here.
LIVE MUSIC @ THE RUC – Friday 4 JUNE
Come support local Canberra artists every Friday night from 7:30-11pm at the RUC in Turner. This Friday’s live music is brought to you by Chicago Charles who specialises in live acoustic performances, DJing, audio visuals and lighting. TAYLOR SWIFT PARTY AT MOOSEHEADS – FRIDAY 4 JUNE
Swifties it’s your time to shine! Get ready to Shake It Off and dance like it’s 1989 with Taylor Swift hits playing all night long. Doors open at 9pm and there are no tickets (just door cover charge) so make sure you join the que early so you can make the most of this incredible night!
CHILDREN’S DAY BY THE LAKE – SATURDAY 5 JUNE
Bring yourself and the kids down to Black Mountain Peninsula this Saturday from 11:30am for a day full of family activities. There will be games, face and T-shirt painting, yoga for children, a jumping castle, sausage sizzle and more! This is a free event, but you must register here before entry.
THE HIGHBALL EXPRESS: MIX IT UP – SATURDAY 5 JUNE
Have you ever wanted to master the art of cocktail mixing? Well now you can this Saturday at the Highball Express’ hands-on ‘Mix It Up’ cocktail class. Bring your friends along to learn how to create 3 fan favourite cocktails from scratch (you even get to drink them too). The class goes from 4:30-5:30pm and is $50 pp, so make sure to make your booking here so you don’t miss out on this fun-filled night.
HARTLEY HALL MARKETS – SUNDAY 6 JUNE
Take a short scenic drive to Hall this Sunday to visit the rural Hartley Hall Markets. The markets offer up the best of fresh produce, baked goods, plants, furniture, clothing, pottery, jewelry, children’s toys, crafts, unique gifts, and much more. There is a great atmosphere with live music and entertainment to make the markets a great place to take the family for a fun day out. Entry is a gold coin donation that is going towards funding the Hartley Lifecare’s disability services.
