There’s somewhere new in town for your Friday night drinks! Bring the week to a close with chilled acoustic tunes from 5pm – 8pm at Fellows Bar and Café’s new garden bar in Acton. Offering Bentspoke beer and Lark Hill wines with Happy hour drinks available from 5pm – 6pm at $5 per drink as well as a $10 food special for the evening.

Held every Friday from the 7thFebruary, Twilight Zone is an event series where world’s collide. Located at Old Parliament House, you’ll find a mix of both reality and dreams in the golden hour of a Friday afternoon with snack food, drinks and relaxed music and entertainment to get you in the zone as the day blends to night. The event runs from 4pm – 9pm, with happy hour prices from 4pm-5pm.
GIN THEMED DINNER AND TASTING EVENT AT FIRST EDITION – FRIDAY 28th
A chance for all gin lovers to come together to sip, taste and learn, the ‘For The Love of Gin’ gin themed dinner and tasting event will take you on a truly immersive journey into the world of gin. You’ll get the opportunity to learn how gin is made and play with different botanicals in a hands-on experience as you dine on a 3-course ‘ginspired’ feast. The dinner features regional produce paired with 4 matching gin cocktails made with First Edition’s Signature Gin. The event goes from 6:30pm – 9:30pm
DENDY SENSORY FRIENDLY SCREENING – SATURDAY 8th
Hosted by Dendy Theatre, Sensory Friendly Screenings shows family-friendly content and family classics including Spies in Disguise, Scoob and Peter Rabbit 2. A great opportunity to spend time with the family, the screenings are tailored to meet the needs of families living with autism and other sensory needs in a safe and accepting cinema environment.

BUSHFIRE FUNDRAISER FOR RFS AT HOTEL QUEANBEYAN – SATURDAY 8TH
Held at Hotel Queanbeyan, this fundraising event will raise money for the NSW Rural Fire Services, particularly the Palerang and South Coast regions.An opportunity for the community to band together and help those in need, the fundraiser will run from 2:30pm – 6:30pm and will include live music, raffle tickets with great prizes and a live auction to top it off.

CAPITAL REGION FARMERS MARKETS AT EXHIBITION PARK – SUNDAYS
The Capital Region Farmers Markets is a meeting place for local producers and foodie fanatics. Here you’ll find local fruit and veggies, fresh meats and handmade items from pasta to pastries, as well as food vendors and live music. A great place to grab a coffee, fresh groceries and yummy street food, there is also an informative events program including cooking demonstrations. Located at Exhibition Park, the markets go from 7:30am – 11:30am every Sunday.
