Fridays are for wings at Moosehead Pub! Grab a group of friends for lunch from 12 – 3pm, or dinner from 5-9pm. At just $25 for 1kg of wings (mild, spicy, or inferno) with your choice of sauce, and 4 schooners of selected tap brer, what’s not to love?
CAPITAL REGION FARMERS MARKETS – SATURDAYS
The Capital Region Farmers Markets is a meeting place for local producers and foodie fanatics. Here you’ll find local fruit and veggies, fresh meats and handmade items from pasta to pastries, as well as food vendors and live music. A great place to grab a coffee, fresh groceries and yummy street food, there is also an informative events program including cooking demonstrations. Located at Exhibition Park, the markets go from 7:30am – 11:30am every Sunday.
THE SALT SESH – SATURDAY 8th
This Saturday, 8 August, from 4-5:30 PM, the CBR Gals Network will host a virtual wellness session, which will teach self-care through the ancient art of salt therapy, including relaxation practices, as well as natural remedies to aid respiratory hygiene, helping to boost and maintain the body’s overall well-being during flu season. We will hand-deliver a goodie bag of handmade, all-natural, salt-based artisan self-care products to event participants, bringing Canberra into the homes of women throughout the ACT. Every woman of every age, profession, and in every season of life is included and invited to relax and connect with other like minded gals through this CBR Gals Network event.
Tickets are $59 and include the goodie bag of salt-based artisan products and the online session. Additionally, 8% of all ticket sales will be donated to the Lung Foundation Australia.

ROCKSPEARE RICHARD III: WHERE YOU ARE FESTIVAL, MITCHEL – SATURDAY 8th
Lakespears & Co. brings you a 90-minute production of Shakespeare’s Richard III for the 2020 Where Are You Festival. The spectacular cast will perform the classic tragedy from 7:30 – 10pm to both live and streamed audiences at Exhibition Park in Mitchell. Live studio audience ticket holders much follow strict COVID-19 safe protocol details which will be sent to them.
Tickets are $12.69 – $85.49 per person.
CHAMPERS & CHARCUTERIE AT 1882 BAR AND GRILL IN HALL– SATURDAY 8th
This Saturday from 3:15 – 5:15pm, 1882 Bar and Grill in are hosting a 2-hour antipasto and free flowing champaign (or wine if preferred) evening. So grab a date or a group of friends (maximum 20 people) and enjoy!

WINEDERLUST GO-BOAT FULL WINETASTING EXPERIENCE – SATURDAY 8th
Winederlust are hosting guided cruises with a full wine tasting experience every Saturday from the 8th – 29th August on Lake Burley Griffin. Leaving from Kingston foreshore, the cruise will showcase 3-4 different local wines, each week with a different theme. Each guest will receive their own tote bag with a stemless wine glass, water bottle, crackers and an individual cheese to complement the wines. Booking size is 2-6 people per group. $38 per person grazing platters are also available as add ons.

WHISKY TASTING AT HIBBO BAR – SATURDAY 8th
Every Thursday and Saturday, staff at Hippo’s weekly whisky tastings will take you through 6 whiskies from countries around the world, including Scotch, Irish, and American whisky. Each group will enjoy their own table, cheese plate, and an hour of whisky chat. Maximum 6 people per group, or private bookings for up to 10 people. Hippo staff are practicing strict social distancing and heightened hygiene practices.

SOUTHSIDE FARMERS MARKET – SUNDAYS
Conveniently located on the Canberra College campus in Woden, the Southside Farmers Markets are a great place to get your weekly groceries and meet the producers! With farm fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, meat, fish, bread, eggs, honey and much more, you can browse the stalls and chat with locals with a coffee in one hand and a tasty snack in the other. The markets are on every Sunday from 8am – 12pm.
